1)       Customer profile questions:

a.       Are you first trying to get a "ballpark" budget together to verify the financial feasibility of the project? Projects can be "ball parked" very easily over the phone based on square footage, finish product quality, etc...
OR
Do you have an understanding of cost and want to move forward with the full estimating process?

b.       Do you need to verify the structural feasibility of your proposed changes?

                                                               i.      Will an engineer be required?

                                                              ii.      Do you need a complete set of plans drown up, including design help?

c.        Are you looking for a competitive fixed bid or do you want your project done as a "Cost Plus" project. When a project will be filled with unknowns through out the project it is best to set a budget with a "Cost Plus" contract. Some projects can be done in phases with some at Cost Plus and some at Fixed Competitive Bid.

d.       Do you want Accent to write the "Scope of Work" and design the "Floor Plans" so you can get comparable estimates "apples to apples".  This is covered under the Accent Design Fee Package. Designs cost are on average:

                                                               i.      Up to $ 50,000 projects cost between $ 250 & $ 500

                                                              ii.      Up to $ 100,000 projects cost between $ 500 & $ 700

                                                            iii.      Over $ 100,000 projects are quoted at the time

e.       It is important for all the decision makers to be present when planning meetings are held, especially in the beginning phase. Accent will make every effort to meet with you on your time table:

                                                               i.      When can everyone meet? During or after normal office hours

                                                              ii.      On larger projects Accent keeps "minutes" from every meeting

                                                            iii.      How do prefer project communication is handled? Email, Phone, Written documents, formal meetings, Carbon copies to all the proper parties.

                                                             iv.      When picking out products the choices are endless. How much time and effort do you want to put into product selection?

f.         What arrangements will you make while the space in your home or office is being remodeled?

                                                               i.      What preparations will be required of you?

                                                              ii.      Valuables stored away?

                                                            iii.      Pets?
